Balance!

With all the positives posts flooding round the web. Coaches teaching people to be 100% positives. I am not saying it's bad, somehow I feel negativity should also be inclusive in some way. If seeing all positives, one might paint a picture too perfect. Let's face it, life really is never going to be exactly like as one wishes because we are all linked in some ways, which thus affects everything. How is one to face it when bad things happens when the person is still in the picture perfect frame? Batteries worked with plus and minus! With Positive in bad times will help to pull one through, to not give up, to carry on. With Negative in good times will help one to stay humble, be forewarn of possible crisis. It is about BALANCE! P50% & N50%? P60% or N40%? P100% only? It's different for everyone. Just find the right combo that worked for yourself that makes you feel good and comfortable. Be Kind & Pray, everything else will fall into it's right place. What's meant to be will always find a way.

Merging 2 blogs

I've imported my another blog - Astro Galaxy Travel into this blog yesterday. I've not been updating as much as I used too. In fact, it was quite a long time since I've posted anything. So it's better to just concentrate on one blog. I've finally finished linking all necessary labels today.

I'm glad that I've finished doing up my blogs with new layout today.
I started off changing my blog template using a trial blog I've have.
It seems safe and user friendly.
So I tried it out on my travel blog - Astro Galaxy Travel.
The layout, photo alignments seems ok but I haven't checked on the older posts yet.
I have to say I'm very impressed with the variety of different backgrounds and templates Blogger is providing now.
And the ease of changing from the old template to new one is also... for the time being seems safe.
Nothing crash so far and I hope all will be well.

Revert back to original background that comes along with the template.
Made some changes to the fronts and text colors.
I'm still lost as to which settings (eg. colors, links...) changes to which part of the blog.

A Store Is Born

I've setup my Amazon aStore today!

I still don't know how it is going to operate or whether is it going to work...
But I do like the process of setting up something like this.
I enjoyed selecting from the endless streams of my favourite toys and post it up the store.
It's pretty much like a blog... I get to choose the template, fronts, colours...etc.
Learning something new is very exciting.
So far, I've only selected 2 items. HeeHee! Test, Test, first.... LOL!
I will continue to set up the store with more items these few days.
Please feel free to give me some comments on the store.

What is happening???

My blog is locked!
Imagine my SHOCKED!!!
I've received an email on Friday, 1 May 2009 saying that my blog has been identified as a potential spam blog???
My blog will be deleted in 20 days if it isn't reviewed!
Dashboard blogger status also show locked!
I'll have to fill in their review form and Blogger will review my blog and unlock it within 2 business days, once they have confirmed my blog is not a spam blog.

Extract part of the E-mail from Blogger :
"We find spam by using an automated classifier. Automatic spam detection is inherently fuzzy, and occasionally a blog like yours is flagged incorrectly. We sincerely apologize for this error. By using this kind of system, however, we can dedicate more storage, bandwidth, and engineering resources to bloggers like you instead of to spammers."

I am wondering does anyone of you ever encounter this problem with your blog?
I'm very worried and my blog is not a spam or anything...

Blogger's Woes

Sometimes a warm and kind comment can actually gives me the motivation to continue posting.
But recently I'm getting more spam comments.
Just today, I've deleted 3 already.
Some link to gambles sites, some link to their advertisement sites...
None are genuine commentors.
Anyway, SPAM HAVE AND WILL BE DELETED from my blog.
What would you do if you recevive these types of comments?
Do you just leave it in your comment box or delete them?
What would you do?

Blogging just another day!

I usually don't write too much about myself or what I do!
Simply because I don't think anyone would be interested!
I'm still sticking my personal stuff to an old little diary.
Does anyone still have the habit of writting a diary book?
If you've noticed or been reading, I'm always talking about toys!
I feel it's much more comfortable writting something leisurely.
Anyway, it was created in the first place as a blog about toys.
It's now about 6pm. Going out soon for dinner!
How time files...
I've spent my entire afternoon reading other's blogs.
Leaving comments when I stumbled upon blogs I like.
Recently, I found some blogs from our local TV stars.
Some are quite interesting and it also gave us an opporunity to know more about the stars.
I think it is also good for them to have a place to express themselves.
A place for them to interact with their fans.
To let fans know first hand about their feelings and thoughts...etc.
Better than to have some newspapers create a big woo-ha of something irrelevant or FAKE news.
Blogging could well be a de-stressing place for them.
Does blogging makes you less stress? Or more stress?

Blogging sometimes does makes me less stressful.
Makes me forget about the stress about life, work, money, people...etc.
Because it occupies so much of my time taking pictures, uploading pictures, think of what to write, what to post...etc.
So I got not much spare time left to think about LIFE!
Aha... all I can say is I still enjoy blogging as much as when I just started!

LOST in Posting

Have you ever stared at the computer for hours thinking what to post on your site?
And nothing much actually comes about???
Well, that's exactly what I was doing for the entire evening.
I was thinking of doing some stuffs about Star Wars since I've not written anything for so long about my this crazy collecting hobby.
But somehow this didn't make it as I am so lazy to take out the toys to photograph them...

The Neo Counter

I went to Malaysia, Melaka over the weekend.
So it's about 3 days without loggin in to my site.
When I returned to see my site, the Neo Counter has recorded many visitors from different countries.
Added this Neo Counter on 1st February 2008.
This really amaze me!!! Such a cleverly design widget.
I like it very much.
Sometimes, when I feel alone,
I would look at this counter and feel...not so alone, maybe!
Feeling connected to parts of the world.
And that's also because of all of you who have visited.

New Counter by Country & You Tube Videos- Added

I've just added a new visitor counter that shows the countries of the vistors.
So, I am pretty excited about it. Hee hee.
I've been surfing for many hours now and my eyes are popping out!
Today... nope, since yesterday... which is just minutes ago (It's now just 12.17am).
I've visited quite a number of blogs, many are very interesting too.

Currently, the list is still adding on.
Yesterday, I've also tried adding some you tube videos.
It had me thinking for months wondering how to add.
Worried it might not work or might crash my works...etc...
Sometimes, I really really worry TOO MUCH.
Since I had some time, I decided to try out.
It was really just copy & paste like how the counter works.
I'm amazed.
This is FUN.

Labels

I've seen many blogs with labels.
I didn't know how to create one.
But I really like it, so I started to snoop around.
Click, Click here and there.
Click, Click there and here.
Finally, I managed to get it right last night.
Why blogging is so interesting is that it gets you into different moods.
First curious on something new,
Then confused about what to do,
Then again frustrated when you can't get certain link works,
But when all is fix, you very much quickly forgot about all the anger.
Then, you are one Happy blogger again!
It's a never ending learning process.
Today, I've created my Labels.

About Blogging

Blogging seems to have extended to all areas of life.
Young or Old, Eastern or Western ... people just love it.
Since yesterday I was rather free, I started to search for other's blogs.
I found many with unique sense of style and provides me an interesting read.
Have you ever thought about why blogging is so popular and with an ever increasing number of people blogging.

Maybe it's because it's our personal SPACE!
Maybe it's because we love to WRITE.
Maybe it's because we want to share our joys & sorrows to the World.
Maybe it's because strangers are sometimes more comforting.
Maybe it's because creating the site for something/someone you love
Maybe it's because we can add Google Adsense!
Maybe it's because we can have sercet identity.
Maybe it's because one day when we die, this site still keeps going!

I've slowly learned how to blog, I remembered starting out last year.
I do not know what is page elements, how to upload pictures, add counter, how to align photos (which almost drives me crazy), honestly, I don't even know there is Google Adense.
Everything was blank. No friends to help me as I didn't let them know I have this URL.
Bit by bit, I built my site. Hoping visitors will like them.
Eventually, I got to know some nice and helpful people too.
This is another reason for keeping on blogging.

Finally...My internet works !

I was not able to serve the net since last Saturday when I changed my dial-up plan to broadband. Only then I realise how important the internet was to me. Felt something was missing, not be able to access my blog or e-mails. Guess I am addicted to the net. Imagine all the trouble trying to get connect. Bring the modem here and there. Asked the service provider, asked the modem company, call the technical help line. To say the truth, I was losing my patient. Finally, they sent a technical guy down to fix the problem, it was due to some missing link in their network ........Argh,,,,,, whatever !! I'm Back !!!
Will be adding a section for Elvis soon. Still trying to do more research and take pictures of my Elvis collectibles. Do come back later if you like Elvis. Meanwhile, I'm back to surfing again........
