Do you remember the first time you've played LEGO?
How old were you?
I remember fixing it,
Then dismantling it,
Then fixing it,
Then dismantling it again...
This will go on and on for me when I was young.
Days and days spent on playing with LEGO.
Counting the dots on the bricks.
As I am not creative, I would always built as instructed in the manual.
Exactly the same model.
Whenever someone strike lottery or 4D in the family, I would set a set of LEGO.
Actually, I still have my very first set of LEGO.
Hee hee, it's a very small LEGO house.
Maybe, one day, I should get it fix and post a picture of it!

Lego Mini History
Lego started in 1932, Denmark.
Ole Kirk Christiansen whom was a carpenter starts the production and selling of wooden toys.
Lego literally means "play well" in Danish.
In 1949, Lego starts producing plastic bricks.

Star Wars Lego
First Star Wars Lego was released in 1999. Model 7140 - X-Wing.
Licensed from 1999 - 2007, now Lego extended the license with LucasFilm to 2011.

Baby Cockatiel

Today announces the arrival of 1 baby cockatiel.
Aha, actually it's just I've brought it in the pet shop this morning.
Arrived home in a small little box with shreds of old newspaper.
It was making sounds and seems very afraid becuase it's shaking.
Hope it will settle down soon.
It's been ages since I kept a pet bird.
20 or 25 years ago, maybe... Can't remember now.
I've got so many questions I need to ask.
Last night, I was reading books about cockatiels till about 3am.
Now having a bad headache...
If there's anyone out there keeping cockatiels, do pass me some tips about caring from them. Thanks in advance.















I brought a bird stand on Friday.
Had wanted to prepare everything ready before purchasing the bird.
But the bird is too young to use it.
So, it's now in the plastic box.















This is the stand for my cockatiel. Use a plastic sheet to wrap around the bottom half. It'll help to prevent seeds from dropping all over the place. Cleaning is also easy with the removable tray.















According to the pet shop, it'll take about another 2 weeks before it can be on solid food and eating on it's own. The feeding now is restricted to milk powder and feeding through syringe.
Formula is 1 spoon of milk power plus 3 part lukewarm water.
"Make sure it is not too thick or hot too." as told by the pet shop owner.

Feeding is 2 times a day - 8ml. Feed 3 times if you want it to grow fast but cannot feed too much. Also put some spray millets in the box, to gradually introduce solid food.
The pet shop said the bird is now about close to 2 months.
2 weeks later, I should bring back to the shop to check if the wings needed to be trimmed. I just went to the take a peep at him/her? Seemed to be better now. Maybe it's the clock I've put beside the box. Tick, Tick, Tick sound got some calming effect!
I'll need to get some toys too. I read from the books they love playing with toys but you'll need to change it to prevent them getting bored. Hee, Hee, just like me!
Toys... Toys... Toys! Hurray!

I almost got heart attack feeding the baby bird.
This morning when the pet shop owner demostrates to me, it all seem easy & fast.
Just now, when I all doing it, the milk squirted all over the little baby's face.
Poor bird! Elmo seemed so hungry.
Oh yes, forget to say my cockatiel is call "ELMO."
Elmo's tiny little head just kept moving and poking at the syringe.
Making tons of noise and makes me even more panic.
Finally, it was all over... Gave Elmo 10ml of liquid food.
Now, Elmo is sleeping !!!

Death of Junior

My Junior Hermit Crab died today !
I was home at 8 plus and notice a faint fishy smell in my hermit tank.
Then I saw a overturned shell. I picked it up and just as I've suspected.
It's dead !
Junior always didn't join the gang and was always a lone ranger.
Always look bored or lifeless... Now I think back, I guessed he's probably not feeling well.

Also voice as Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story 1 & 2
Personally, I got to know this person through his book, "Don't stand too close to a naked man" I like the humor in his book.
Mr Tim Allen also wrote another book, "I'm not really here."

I was looking for this movie for 10 over years.
Remembered watching it when I was about 8 or 9 Years old.
If you ask me why this movie left me such great impression.
I think it's about the mountains, the snow and the 108 year old lady dying.
Then suddenly, I wanted to watch the movie again when I was in my teens.
As I do not know the title of the movie, you can see me going around VCD shop asking the staffs. Usually I would say to them, " it's a movie about a plane crash, the people found a village in the mountains, the people living there looks young but when they leave the village, the will turn into their actual age and died.
Maybe, it's something wrong with description that's why no one knows what movie it was or what I was talking about …
Anyway, I kept asking and asking … 10 years ++???
Oh boy, I didn't know I was so long-winded, aha…
Finally I was able to get some leads in the PEZ community forum last month.
One member said it might be a movie about shangri-la.
So I checked it on the net and found informations which lead me to "Lost Horizon."
Luckily, I was able to find the DVD on this classic Black & White movie.
This afternoon, I finished watching this movie.
I love this even more because there is a lot of meaning to life about this movie.




























Inside the house, the surroundings were completely different from the outside.
Very grand furnishings and filled with art collections.














Father Perrault - A belgian priest - know as high lama in Shangri-La. Arrive in 1713 and he was the one who built Shangri-La. Completed the building when he was 108 years old and still active.












Robert & Sondra meet in Shangri-La and fell in love.
Sondra had always admired Robert about the books he had written.




















Planning of escaping from Shangri-La.
Robert warned that the lady could not leave Shangri-La as she is 108 years old.
Robert was confused but decided to leave together with them.














Myths from Mr Chiang turn out to be truth. When they farther away from the village, the lady begun to age and eventually death knocks on the door.
George was shocked and killed himself by jumping off the mountains.














Embarking the return journey alone,
Robert Conway is all set to look to return to Shangri-La despite the harsh weather.



At last, the entrance of Shangri-La is FOUND !
