Tin Toys

Updated Post on 6 April 2009, 9 December 2009

The variety of tin toys, the deisgn, the colours, the way they walk when wind up never fails to attract me.
My humble little collections in my blog are all reproductions.
Vintage tin toys are simply out of my budget.
* means the robot names were given by me because it does not have a name.
All sizes given are only based on the height of the tin toy, unless otherwise stated.
My tin toys Robots and Spaceships is at another different post, for viewing, please click here!
If anyone own or have any sites / blogs about tin toys, please do not hesitate to leave me a comments here, so I can visit them too! Thanks!

I never imagined tin toys collectibles could really look very good in a picture. I remember once seeing an old one that almost had the paint rusted but still looks good.

My favorites were the tin toy and the penguin. They might be reproductions, but they are very beautiful. I also like the movement of these kind of toys.
Although as you can imagine sometimes is difficult to find the antique ones still working perfectly.
I'll keep reading you.

Greetings Blue Fairy,
Same as me, I like their movements too, some are quite clumsy, it'll make me laugh... When they walk, it looks as if they are going to topple over anytime...LOL!
Thanks for visiting again and sure enjoy having you here always!
Cheers and Take Care!

i think these are all good toys that can play for a long time

Yeah Hazel,
As long as it's not over wind-up, these should be able to last a long long time! Most of it also don't need batteries to operate to play. Can save money and the environment too...hehe
